A trip to Guntersville Lake : These are not the sharpest, closest shots of a Great Blue Heron that I've gotten, but it was interesting to me because of the drama of the hunt, and the huge catch that this guy came up with. Also shot during my first visit here were several very large Gulls, and a couple of decent Cormorant in-flight shots. All shot with the D2H / 300mm f/2.8 + TC-17EII.
